From 2005 on Vato Jordania studied in Tbilisi at the national conservatory in the class of Professor Tengiz Amirejibi and finished his studies with a Bachelor’s degree in piano studies. In 2007 he was winner of the IVth Georgian National Competition for Music Interpreters, and in 2009 he won third prize in the international piano competition in Tbilisi.

Vato Jordania was born in 1986 in Tbilisi/Georgia. At the age of five he started taking piano lessons. His obvious talent allowed him to give his first public concert with orchestra at the age of eight in Tbilisi. During his studies at the Georgian music college from 1992 to 2004 he already took part in various competitions.

„A character of explosive temperament, Vato Jordania can come out of his shell at any moment. At the same time he is a very communicative musician, he can tell lots of stories about passion and sorrow, sadness and exuberance, love and death, wit and irony, melancholy and sarcasm. In that sense as great a romantic as a classic“.
Walter Gürtelschmied

“Vatos piano performance combines outstanding technical virtuosity with deep emotional expressiveness.”
Michael Artaker
